Terms built to be read

The service provider is the natural person identified at the foot of this page. DropLine is an application that attaches photos and videos to the place they were taken, allows that content to be shared with private groups, collected on a personal map, and — at the user's election — published on public pages.

• You must be at least 13 to open an account. If you are under 18, you should use the service with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for the security of your sign-in method and for activity carried out through your account.
• You must report unauthorised use of your account without delay.

You own the content you upload and continue to own it. So that the service can function, you grant DropLine a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable licence solely to store, process, generate thumbnails of, and deliver that content to the audience you choose. This licence does not extend to advertising, marketing, or sub-licensing to third parties, and it ends when you delete the content.

• Upload only content you have the right to use.
• Do not expose another person's sensitive location without their consent.
• Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, and material facilitating violence or hate speech are strictly prohibited.
• Use for harassment, threats, or stalking is prohibited.

DropLine is a hosting provider within the meaning of Turkish Law No. 5651. Under Article 5 of that Law it is not obliged to monitor the content it hosts or to investigate whether unlawful activity is taking place; however, once notified of unlawful content it must remove it from publication and must retain traffic data for the period prescribed by legislation.

You may report a public photo or page you believe to be unlawful to the safety address at the foot of this page. Stating the address of the content and the reason for its unlawfulness will speed up review. The right of those alleging a violation of personal rights to apply to a criminal judgeship of peace under Article 9 of Law No. 5651 is reserved.

DropLine may remove content or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect people, comply with a legal obligation, or preserve the service. Images uploaded publicly pass through an automated safety screening; you may appeal its outcome and request human review.

Group maps are open only to members and group content is end-to-end encrypted. Public profile pages and DL Point feeds can be seen without an account by anyone who knows the address. Check the visibility indicator on screen before publishing. Removing public status prevents future access but cannot retrieve copies others made while it was published.

Premium subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play; billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by that store's own rules and the price shown at checkout. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled; cancellation is performed in the subscription settings of your store account.

Your rights under Turkish consumer legislation are reserved. For services performed instantly in electronic form and intangible in nature, the scope of the right of withdrawal is governed by Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation. In case of a dispute you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court according to the applicable monetary thresholds.

The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, or supplier-side outages. DropLine does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not intended to serve as the only backup of your content; keeping a separate copy of important photos is recommended.

DropLine's liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. However, under Article 115 of the Turkish Code of Obligations, no clause excluding or limiting liability for intent or gross negligence is valid; the mandatory provisions of consumer legislation are reserved in every case.

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account from within the app. The consequences of deletion for shared group content are shown before the confirmation screen. DropLine may terminate an account for a material breach of these terms; where it does, a reasonable period to export your data is granted unless a legal impediment prevents it.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. For users acting as consumers, the right to apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court at their place of residence, and the mandatory protection afforded by the law of their residence, are reserved; nothing in these terms may be construed to limit those rights. For users not acting as consumers, the courts and enforcement offices at the controller's place of residence have jurisdiction.

These terms may be updated. Material changes that operate to your detriment are announced in the app a reasonable time before they take effect; if you do not accept a change you may terminate your account.
